The Travel Rack is made to travel with you – to go where you go. Each rack is laser carved from a single steel plate. All of the initial shaping and drilling required for the rack, attachment plate, and straps is completed utilizing the latest in CNC laser cutting technology. The final shape of the Travel Rack can only be obtained by hand rolling and bending the steel frame to achieve the desired form.
Our steel racks are inspected, finished, and powder coated to make them durable and weather-capable. All Travel Racks are powder coated in black allowing them to blend in with most motorcycle travel luggage. The beauty in the Travel Rack lies in its functionality and durability.
The straps we use are made from non-elastic, military weight cotton. Our cam-style buckles are made with a matte nickel finish to compliment the black strapping. The straps and cam-style buckles hold your luggage securely to the rack - no more bungee cords. The benefit of this is only fully appreciated when you need to stop on the road to retrieve your rain gear from your roll bag. With the Travel Rack, a simple release of the straps and you have access to your gear. No tedious unwrapping of bungee cords, putting the bag on the ground in order to get out your gear, and then attempting to recall how you had secured your luggage to the motorcycle with the bungee cords.
With no joints, welds, or rivets, the Travel Rack is both strong and stable. This design also ensures that your luggage won’t be damaged by bolt heads, or rough surfaces. The mounting bolts used have flat heads to also protect your luggage. All bolts are coated with black oxide to further enhance the inconspicuous look of the rack.
The Travel Rack is made, and has been road tested in all kinds of weather to ensure that it is as tough as the riders who need them.
